Hard Work is its Own Reward

Question of the Day: What is something you've kept for years but almost never use?

Thought of the Day: "The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more." — Jonas Salk

_________

Good Morning Reader,

Jonas Salk once said, “The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more.”

At first glance, that doesn’t sound much like a reward. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that meaningful work has a funny way of opening the next door instead of closing the last one.

Today’s Thought of the Day explores why that’s not a burden, but often a sign that you’re becoming someone others can trust.

Then I have a question that sent me wandering into my attic.

I have buckets of old cables. Coax cables. Original iPod chargers. More USB cables than any one person should own. I almost never use them… but I can’t quite convince myself to throw them away.

Today’s Question of the Day is:

What is something you’ve kept for years but almost never use?

Share your answer after reading The Things We Keep but Never Use.

Have a wonderful Friday.

Stay Golden,
Ken
