You get to name a city on Mars…

Question of the Day: If you could name the first City on Mars, What would you name it?

Thought of the Day: "We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children." — Native American Proverb

_________

Good Morning Reader,

Ever notice how some ideas feel simple until you sit with them for a minute?

Today’s Thought of the Day flips something most of us don’t question. We like to think what we have is ours. Something earned. Something kept. But what if it’s not ownership at all? What if it’s just a turn holding something that will move on without us?

There’s a quiet responsibility in that.

And then there’s today’s Question of the Day, which starts out light but doesn’t stay there for long. If you could name the first city on Mars, what would you call it? Sounds fun at first. But naming something has a way of revealing what matters to you, whether you expect it or not.

And you can answer today’s Question of the Day here: Mars Needs a Name

Stay Golden,
Ken

It’s best to forget them and move on. _________ Good Morning Reader, Today’s Thought of the Day begins with a line from Dr. Seuss: “Adults are obsolete children.” It sent me thinking about the things kids still seem to understand naturally. Wonder. Curiosity. Honesty. The ability to become completely absorbed in something small and ordinary. The post became a reflection on how...

Question of the Day: How often do you take the stairs? Thought of the Day: We all have dreams we’ll never achieve. It’s best to forget them and move on. _________ Good Morning Reader, Today’s Thought of the Day is about the dreams that stay with us, even after life changes shape around them. Not every dream comes true exactly the way we imagined it would. But some still leave fingerprints on who we become. Sometimes the dream matters less as a destination and more as a compass point. You can...

Question of the Day: How often do you choose convenience over calm? Thought of the Day: No earthquake can shatter a peaceful mind. _________ Good Morning Reader, Yesterday, I spent six hours driving with my daughter for a twenty minute doctor’s appointment. Technically, there was a faster option. But the faster option meant dragging a five year old through Midtown Manhattan chaos, and somewhere along the way I realized I would rather spend more time in the car and less time stressed out. The...
